Jesus and the Canaanite woman – what unites us is greater than what divides us
Revd Nigel Rawlinson led our contemplative communion service in August, speaking on the story of Jesus meeting the Canaanite woman and how this illustrates God’s plan of salvation for Israel and, through them, for the rest of the world. Nigel pleaded for unity – what unites us is greater than what divides us, compassion – especially towards those who are not like us, and prayer to form the basis of a revitalised church.
