31/05/20 – Rev’d Judith Harries reflects on the peace, power and purpose given to the disciples at Pentecost.
“Being a part of the Church of England is going to look very different in the days ahead. Our life is going to be less characterised by attendance at church on Sunday, and more characterised by the prayer and service we offer each day”.
– The Archbishops of Canterbury and York
For the next few months we may be ‘doing’ church a little differently. On this page you will find links to Sunday services, messages from our Vicar, Tim, and other helpful information.
We want to encourage you at this time, to be picking up your bible and praying. The world we live in is big on social media, podcasts and streaming… we feel it is no substitute for seeking the presence of God, spending time in prayer and meditating on His word. So we really want to encourage this and nurture these behaviours above all.
Each week we will provide a guide for daily prayer if you wish to use it. We encourage you to use this to build healthy routine in to your lives, which may seem a little shaken at the moment.
Our Sunday ‘service’ will also be attached for you to download and follow at your own pace, with audio and visual media of the reflection of the day.
