Streamed service, 10.30am, 18/04/2021 with Revd Tim Buckley officiating and preaching on Zephaniah 3:14-end & Luke 24:36b-48 – a renewed vision of Jesus, Prince of Peace
“Being a part of the Church of England is going to look very different in the days ahead. Our life is going to be less characterised by attendance at church on Sunday, and more characterised by the prayer and service we offer each day”.
– The Archbishops of Canterbury and York
Over the last year, church as we know it has been very different but the Church is very much alive! Due to the conditions prevailing at this time, we are following Church of England and diocesan advice and have moved most of our services online until further notice. However, we were able to hold two live services as well as our usual 5pm Zoom service on Easter Day and will be experimenting with occasional live services in the coming months.
There will continue to be an online service available to download most Sundays, mixed with occasional live streamed Holy Communion services from the side chapel at St Matts at 10.30am. Please check here for up to date information.
On all Sundays, for the time being, there will be an informal live Zoom gathering at 5pm. Please go to our contact page and sign up for one of the weekly emails to receive the login links.
On this page you will find the latest online service to download below. You can follow this at your own pace, with audio and visual media of the readings, sermon, intercessions and weekly hymns along with links to our YouTube page.
There are also recordings of the latest sermons from our streamed and live services and videos from previous online services together with links to other resources.
At this time, we really urge you to be praying, along with reading and meditating on God’s word. To help with this, we also provide a guide for daily prayer, which along with other resources, helps to build healthy patterns and routines into our lives in these complicated days.
Please be assured of our ongoing prayers and always remember we are only an email or phone call away.
