We want children, young people and students to feel at home in our church family, growing in faith on Sundays and throughout the week.

Here’s what happens throughout the week:

Students at Widcombe

We LOVE students.

If you’re new to Bath, we’d love to help you find a community where you can belong, make friends and explore faith.

Come along to St Matt’s at 10.45am on a Sunday - you’ll get a warm welcome. Or email admin@widcombe.church and we’d love to take you out for a coffee.

There are lots of opportunities to get connected with the church family this autumn. We can’t wait to meet you.

Youth at Widcombe

Found Youth Club is for anyone aged 11–18 and meets at St Matt’s every Friday evening, unless otherwise stated, from 7–9pm.

Run by Life Church, it’s a great place to hang out, make friends, have fun and explore faith together. To find out more email admin@widcombe.church

Kids at Widcombe

  • Every Wednesday | 10am | St Matt’s (term time only)

Roots & Shoots is our multigenerational play group, a space where all ages can come together to enjoy community with others while little ones play.

With a self-service café (donations welcome) and toys and activities for little ones (aged 0-4).

  • Matt’s Minis is our Sunday group for children aged 2–5.

We meet every Sunday at St Matt’s, except on the second Sunday (our Café Service) and fifth Sunday (our Family Service). After the first part of the service, children head out for their own time together, with Bible stories, singing, crafts, games and plenty of fun!

At our Café Service, there are always children’s activities and colouring available too.

  • Sunday Science is our Sunday group for children aged 5–11.

We meet every Sunday at St Matt’s, except on the second Sunday (our Café Service) and fifth Sunday (our Family Service). Through experiments, creativity and plenty of curiosity, we explore faith and discover more about God and his world. From what we hear, the children absolutely love it.

At our Café Service, there are always children’s activities and colouring available too.
